Monday - Thursday
10 am - 4:00 pm at the Gaithersburg Campus.
Interns will attend and serve at their Home Campus.
Interns will focus on the growth of their relationship with God and the development of their faith. You will have opportunities to expand your knowledge of God and experience more of the life you are called to through Christ.
Class sessions provide a venue to explore your faith in an interactive environment. Sessions, taught by COR staff members, focus on leadership, biblical studies, and practical living and are coupled with group discussion and activities to reinforce concepts.
Each day begins with a time of worship and prayer. You'll learn to prioritize time with God as a core value for your life. Some of the most life-changing moments happen during morning worship times!
You will read a relevant book designed to propel you toward the calling God has for your life. You'll dig in every week and have an opportunity to process what you're learning in a large group setting.
Deluge exists to prepare students for a life rooted in Christ and His Church. You'll have opportunities to work with COR’s children, youth, and young adult ministries to build a foundation of serving in the local church. This is a great avenue for you to develop and use your gifts and talents for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
Interns will focus on creating authentic relationships through Groups, an atmosphere where you are able to process what God is doing in your life, through prayer and fellowship. In addition, interns will be connecting with their community by loving and giving through various Outreach serving opportunities
What if I have other summer plans? Can I still do Deluge?
Deluge is a 9-week commitment. We encourage every person to commit to the full program so they won't miss out on any of what God has for them. However, we understand there are extenuating circumstances and would be happy to work something out so you will be able to participate this summer.
Does Deluge cost money?
There is a $50 non-refundable application fee. You will be responsible for your own personal expenses: food, gas, housing, etc.
What if I don't live in Maryland?
We encourage out of town applicants to apply. We will help you arrange a host home for the summer.
