What a blessing it has been to partner with you in the advance of God’s Kingdom throughout 2021. Thank you for generously giving to the Lord’s work. We are so very grateful for you!
Although we faced some unique circumstances this past year, our church continues to be extremely active in carrying out the mission God has entrusted to us. Through your giving and engagement, we have effectively responded to challenges by bringing God’s Word and meaningful worship at our Gaithersburg and Frederick campuses, and to your homes through online ministry. We are thrilled to report 2,645 salvations in 2021 through our weekend services and Church of the Redeemer ministries.
Your contributions also allowed us to reach out in practical ways to those in need. On a regular basis, we supported men’s and women’s shelters, soup kitchens, rescue missions, and other local organizations that help address food insecurity and spiritual needs. Through our Grab n Go, holidays, and direct community outreaches, we distributed food to over 35,000 people and blessed over 4,000 children with a gift at Christmas.
This past year we celebrated our 35th anniversary as a church. We also conducted our first youth conference, where over 200 students committed to take their next step in their relationship with God. We have reopened our weekly RKids ministry and successfully launched our first Steps to Freedom discipleship class. These are just a few of the ministry opportunities we have engaged in last year.
You have truly impacted the lives of many this past year. I hear countless stories of lives being changed in our own congregation as well as from the many pastors, leaders, and mission organizations we support worldwide. Physical and spiritual aid has been provided to tens of thousands of poor and persecuted people, including women and children, in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and throughout the world because of your giving
Luke 6:38 states, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” My prayer for you is that, as you have faithfully given, God would pour out overflowing blessings upon your life. Thank you in advance for your continual partnership in 2022.
