In the US, 1 in 3 women become pregnant before age 20.
YoungLives Montgomery County supports the many pregnant and parenting teen moms (ages 13 to 20) in our area navigate motherhood, faith, and high school. Our aim is to impact teen moms and shape future generations with the message of Jesus Christ. Most teen moms we serve experience poverty, violence, sickness, loneliness, and other challenges daily. YoungLives is a light to these young moms and their children. You can help us by being a Mentor, Prayer Warrior, Childcare, with Meals or as a one-time commitment in our various Special Events throughout the year.
For the safety of the children, the address will be provided after registration. A YoungLives volunteer will personally contact you with the details.

The Frederick Rescue Mission (FRM) is a Christ-centered ministry providing multiple services. We are currently seeking to help in two areas: "Bring and Serve" to provide food for those experiencing hunger or food insecurity; and "Faith House", a vital FRM ministry providing a loving, Christ-centered place for women and children experiencing homelessness. We are currently seeking to help with the cleaning of Faith House apartments.

Come ready to prepare, serve, and clean up.
Church of the Redeemer is partnering with the Community Table Program operated by The City of Frederick. The City provides an evening meal seven nights a week, 365 days a year to anyone in need of a hot, nutritious meal. We will be serving approximately 100 people. This will be another opportunity to practically serve our neighbors in Jesus’ name.
Most of the men, women and children using the Community Table are homeless, but some are very low-income renters (including senior citizens) who come for a free meal in order to help make ends meet. The Community Table Program is operated by the DHHS. COR volunteers will be responsible to cook, serve and clean-up for the evening meal. And we will have a great time of fellowship as we labor together!
For those that would like to serve a “NEED LIST” will be sent by email a couple of times until the NEED LIST has been fully met. If you would like to receive the NEED LIST email, please register using the SIGN UP TO SERVE button below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All those serving must be first onboarded as part of the COR Dream Team. This is an easy process. Let us know on the registration form.
We hope you can serve at the Community Table.
